He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32 Why do you doubt Him, dear one? He already gave you His best gift first. He offered up His one and only Son to die on the cross for your sins even though you were, at that time, His enemy. Do you now, when your back is against the proverbial wall, allow your faith to waver? What value is your devotion if it can so easily forget the price with which it was bought? Heaven awaits you! Christ, Himself, awaits you! Heavenly mansions are being prepared-for you! I often find that when I am feeling the chill of despondency it's because I have forgotten that He owes me nothing and yet He already gave me everything. Oh that my little boys would learn at a young age that whatever circumstances come their way, they need not ever doubt God's loving mercy. He alone, is enough.
